SKIING IN ASPEN
When most people think of Aspen they think of movie stars and celebrities but Aspen, in Colorado’s Rocky Mountains is so much more than that. It is one of the world’s best Ski Resorts and more affordable than you think.
Originally, it was inhabited by the Ute Indians, then in the late 1800s Aspen became a silver mining town with this wonderful history displayed through the buildings. Aspen is often described as “the soul of a mountain town with the buzz of a city.”
Aspen is warm, friendly and visually stunning, especially during the Winter Ski Season where streets are filled with snow and trees twinkling with fairy lights. Everything within the main town is pretty much with in walking distance.
